TEAM DETAILS:
The SCC Masters team, a prominent part of the Football Section of the Singapore Cricket Club (SCC), was established in 2022 by senior section member Jeremy Lim. The primary goal of this team is to offer competitive football opportunities to the growing number of older players within the section. To ensure a diverse and experienced squad, players from all teams in the football section were invited to join, with the sole criterion being that they must be over 45 years of age.
Under Jeremy Lim’s management, the SCC Masters had an impressive inaugural season in 2022/2023. The team demonstrated exceptional skill and teamwork, clinching the Equatorial Football League (EFL) championship with five games to spare.
The subsequent 2023/2024 season presented more challenges, as key players were often unavailable due to work and travel commitments. Despite these obstacles, the Masters team showcased resilience and secured a respectable third-place finish. As they head into the pre-season for 2024/2025, the SCC Masters are driven by a renewed desire to reclaim the league title.
