Established in 1852, the Singapore Cricket Club (SCC) is the premier sports and lifestyle club situated in the heart of the city. This iconic club, housed in a gazetted building, offers a stunning juxtaposition of historic charm and modern elegance, with the famous Padang field at its doorstep.
Over the years, SCC has become a hub for Singapore’s sporting community, boasting 13 different sports sections, including the vibrant SCC Football Section.
“SCC Football” is expertly managed by the SCC Football Section within the Singapore Cricket Club. It features a diverse range of teams competing in various leagues and age groups, including the SCC SFL team in the top tier of the Singapore Football League, the SCC Tigers in the top division of the Equatorial Football League, and the Pumas (Ladies), who are making notable strides in women’s football.
In addition to competitive teams, SCC Football offers a variety of social teams that cater to members of all ages. Crucially, we provide our members with the opportunity to play football every day of the week. By managing our own fields and organizing all game arrangements, we ensure that football remains a constant and accessible part of our members’ lives.
The section also runs a comprehensive Academy that trains and competes in youth leagues, including the Singapore Youth League organized by the Football Association of Singapore, with teams ranging from Under 8 to Under 17 for both boys and girls.
